Brother Deacon,
Thank you for agreeing to record an episode of the Deacon Life podcast with me! The idea of the podcast was the original inspiration for Deacon Life. I was inspired to create a forum where we could learn about and share the stories of deacons - their lives, their call, their service, and the ups and downs of their ministry. I imagine an ongoing “oral history” of deacons and the diaconate, and I’m grateful you’ve agreed to be part of it.
How to be ready to record:
I'll provide a link to record in Zencastr. You'll open the provided Zencastr recording session in your Chrome or Safari Web browser.
Plan to record in a well-lit, quiet space, and clean up the background behind you. Try to be near a window or quality light source.
Please be ready to use some kind of microphone. Headphones, airpods, or any other external mic will work. The goal is to not use the internal mic on your computer. If you need an external mic, I can ship you one with a few days' notice. Just let me know in advance.
If you have a webcam, use that instead of the built-in one on your device.
If you haven’t already, schedule a time to record with me:

I’ll send you a Talent Release to sign & submit before we record.
Come relaxed - we’re just going to have a conversation as brothers! Please turn off your phone before we start to record.
